Two will face trial accused of murdering man aged 60

A MAN and a woman have pleaded not guilty to the murder of a 60-year-old in Wembury, near Plymouth, and have been remanded in custody.

Lee Chugg, aged 41, and Jodie Swannick, 31, are set to face a jury from August 23 over the death of Stephen Fogg. The trial is expected to last two weeks

They faced a court together for the first time yesterday to deny murdering Mr Fogg, of Hawthorn Drive, between December 14 and December 17. Chugg, of Knighton Road, Wembury, and Swannick, of no fixed address, were arrested on December 21.

They appeared at Exeter Crown Court for a 30-minute hearing.
