Molly put down her book. "I suppose you mean Dad s one year older than Mother, and there's also one year between your parents."

"That's only part of it," her husband replied. "If you write mother's age before your father's, you get the product of my parents' ages."

But Aunt Amelia didn't seem to mind. "That's all right," she told him. "I'll tell the boy, but he'll have to work for it. You get my age if you add seven times its second figure to three times its first."
