Johnson must quit over Covid plan delay

PRIME Minister Johnson promised a “world-beating” response to the pandemic only to see the UK become a world leader in letting the virus kill. Under Johnson the UK has now a rate of 1,412 Covid deaths per million people-higher even than America.

On his first day in the White House President Biden produced a 200 page Covid plan. In the UK we are still waiting for one. The figure of 100,000 deaths is a sad indictment of Johnson’s endless dithering and delay.

Johnson must step aside before 100,000 deaths become 200,000 deaths.
