DEATH IN PARADISE

BBC1, 9pm

-

MORE chaos in the Caribbean – Neville is in hospital. Why? He was bitten by a rogue sandfly while limbering up for a game of beach volleyball.

That’s what you get for finally trying to embrace island life when you’re pretty much allergic to everything.

However, on the bright side, this does mean he’s perfectly situated when this week’s suspicious murder takes place.

Nurse Dena Johnson (Gbemisola Ikumelo) takes her own life during a night shift, but Neville, played by Ralf Little, suspects foul play.

Do fellow patients Freddie (Steve Edge) and Lulu (Flo Wilson) know more than they are letting on? Most likely.

And why exactly are Dena’s brother Taylor and her boss Dr Joshua Dreyfuss being so secretive?

Discharging himself from hospital, Neville disobeys orders and risks his health to get to the bottom of it.

But will he crack the case before either landing in trouble or keeling over?

?? ?? Being in hospital means Neville is on hand to solve a murder – but where do Lulu and Taylor fit in?
