Dog in Exeter has Alabama Rot

DOG owners are being urged to remain vigilant after a confirmed case of Alabama Rot in Exeter.

Cutaneous and renal glomerular vasculopathy (CRGV), more commonly known as Alabama Rot, affects the kidneys and has a 90 per cent mortality rate. It often begins with sores on the legs.

Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists confirmed the news, while also revealing new cases in Herefordshire and Greater London. It has been leading research into the illness.
