Statues must not be removed at a whim

WELL done Robert Jenrick, communities secretary, for proposing amendments to laws to protect statues, monuments and other memorials. His comments are so true, to stop them being removed on a whim or at the behest of a baying mob. Hopefully he will contact Mayor Marvin Rees and remind him our statue is listed and has to go back on the plinth.
