INTERIOR DESIGN MASTERS WITH ALAN CARR
BBC2, 8pm
WRANGLINGS over wallpaper and chaos over cushion fabrics create high tension in this interior design competition.
Ten aspiring designers are on the cusp of turning professional – winning this would mean a commercial contract with a top boutique hotel and surefire success in the industry.
Former Editor in Chief of Elle Decoration magazine, Michelle Ogundehin, is the one with the keen eye, scrutinizing their designs alongside some guest experts.
Host Alan Carr adds some extra pizzazz, and presumably lends his name to the title because producers worry we won’t tune in without a celebrity stamp of approval.
This week the designers
must work in pairs to redesign show homes worth a million pounds in Oxford.
They have just two days, £1,500 and two tradesmen to transform these bland spaces ready for a big reveal.
Michelle is joined by Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen to decide which designers have created winning designs and which unlucky hopeful will be eliminated.
