In the words of Mandy Rice-Davies “well, she would, wouldn’t she?” I also note the decision was based on the results of a survey of 4,130 people. As there must be close to a million people in Devon and Cornwall police area, hardly a representative sample. Pity the question was not put “who do you think should pay for improved policing”? ‘Someone else’ would be the honest answer!
