Jenny joins top names leaving BBC Spotlight
ANOTHER BBC Spotlight veteran, Jenny Walrond, has said she is stepping down from the programme – the fourth in the past year.
Walrond, who is the BBC South West Health and Science Correspondent, announced her departure on Twitter where she quoted Frank Sinatra: “Start spreading the news... Massive thanks to all those who trusted me to tell their stories, to all the interviewees/colleagues/contacts who I’ve laughed and cried with over the last 23 years.
“It’s been a blast, but it’s time for someone else to have a turn.”
Walrond’s Tweet was replied to by many well-wishers. She is the fourth BBC Spotlight presenter to step back from the broadcaster in the past year, with Hamish Marshall and Justin Leigh making their own announcements in
