Man badly hurt in fall at harbour
A MAN has suffered multiple broken limbs after falling off the harbour wall at Brixham.
The incident, which happened on Friday February 5 saw crews from Berry Head Coastguard called to assist South Western Ambulance Service Trust to assist with a male casualty who had fallen from the harbour wall into the inner harbour at Brixham during low tide.
The man was taken to hospital with two broken legs and a broken arm after the incident, which saw coastguard crews called out at 5.48pm.
In a post on Facebook, a spokesperson for Berry Head Coastguard wrote: “Once the casualty had been stabilised and given pain relief by paramedics he was secured in our stretcher and extricated to the waiting ambulance for transport to the hospital.”
