A: "You're selling melons in pairs," said Mike. "What if I want just seven?"

"They re all the same, so take your pick and I'll be glad to split a pair," Hank replied. "£2 for seven for you, mister, and that gives me the same profit as I normally make on one pair."

Mike smiled. "But what if I take a dozen?"

The old man replied, "I'd want double the profit for that lot, so they d be £3.50 for you."

What was his normal price for a pair?

The boy smiled. "Not too late, but see if you can work it out," he replied. "The minute hand was right on a minute mark, one minute ahead of the hour hand." What time is it?
