Tangier flood kills at least 24
AT least 24 workers have been killed in the Moroccan city of Tangier after heavy rain flooded a clandestine garment factory yesterday, according to state news agency MAP.
Local authorities said firefighters and emergency workers rescued ten survivors from the factory, in the basement of a residential villa.
Search operations were under way yesterday to rescue other workers trapped inside the flooded factory. An investigation has been launched.
