Perhaps BLM will contribute to statue?
IF the internationally supported and funded (to the tune of many £millions) feel happy to contribute financially to the destruction or relocation of statues depicting past British colonialists (and Captain Cook is included in their ‘hit list’), and if BLM supporters are content to, appreciative of the freely administered medical attention delivered 24/7 by the NHS, would it be unreasonable to ask BLM to contribute towards the erection of five statues of the recently departed Captain Sir Tom Moore, who raised £32,796,155 from his garden walk at the age of 100 in support of the overstretched NHS?
Perhaps a statue in our capital city, and one in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and his birthplace, Keighly in Yorkshire?
