I don’t recall charging EU for their liberation

CONGRATULATIONS to Ian Minshull for reminding us all about an important aspect concerning the EU, re the entire number of EU countries who were invaded, bar one – Germany – during the last war, but who failed to put up any resistance fighting the invading forces of Nazi Germany.

But I can remember that it was the combined military forces of the UK (and other countries) that liberated them all – gratis, without any charges, pecuniary ‘hurdles’ now sought by unelected people.

That in our seeking to withdraw, none of our politicians have had the courage to confront those so aptly referred to by Mr Minshull is a disgrace.
