Prisoner monitor at custody suite

PRISONERS who are taken to Devon and Cornwall Police’s newest custody suite are to be safeguarded by a high-tech camera system which can monitor their movement, pulse and even breathing.

The ground-breaking technology called Oxevision is installed at Exeter police station custody suite so detainees can be monitored remotely, and can alert to potentially risky activity, such as self-harm or significant health issues, allowing for early intervention.
