UK is becoming a third-world country

-

YOU posed the question: “Do you think Britannia is only just starting to roar?”

‘No’ is the answer. Churchill once said: “I was not the lion, but it fell to me to give the lion’s roar...”

Fast forward 75 years and Boris Johnson can barely provide a murmur for the lion.

Britannia has not just one of the deepest recessions, but has the highest Covid-19 death rate in Europe. Families are struggling and businesses are going to the wall.

Johnson’s Brexit has left the nation isolated and struggling. The UK is fast becoming a third-world country.

Even the once renowned London Stock Exchange has been eclipsed by the Amsterdam stock market.

Britannia will emerge from its self-inflicted exile but not until widespread change has swept the nation. Until then, the country will have to endure the murmurs of Johnson.

One day the lion will roar again. Just not yet.
