Many questions still need to be answered

-

I WAS told to tell the truth as a child, as the truth will always come out eventually.

To put this into context with the raging row between the EU and AstraZeneca about breaches of contract and limited supplies to the EU: Sky News has reported that in the UK we have supplies of 5.5 doses of the vaccine per person. Certain national newspapers also back this up.

This is excellent for us but is the EU totally wrong for its anger, after investing a reported €2.7 billion into vaccine companies, including AstraZeneca, for research and production? We would act the same if put in this situation.

The British Government has now said that it is prepared to help the EU with no strings attached.

But there is a bigger question to ask. If we do have sufficient supplies, why are we not rolling out far more and quickly, and especially to all our key workers? Why the delay?

We have a strong structure with the excellent NHS teams and all other support staff to achieve full immuninisation by mid-summer. This is, of course, if the reports are correct. Or is it a matter of something else we do not know about and timing.

We at least deserve this question to be answered.
