Common Market was good idea... not EU

LIKE other recent contributors I thought the Common Market to be a good idea, so cast my vote in favour, not realizing that wheels were already turning to create the behemoth that became the EU.

I read recently in the national press an article purporting to come from ‘The Office of the Leader of The Opposition’ detailing the changes which it would make to the governance of the UK.

I found the article to be extreme and frightening in its content, as it would seem to pass power to mob rule and a ‘woke’ administration.

If it is true, I do not think this would appeal to even the most fervent Labour supporters.

Maybe Shaun Shute would like to comment?
