IT’S grand finale time, and the three famous faces competing for the title of Celebrity Best Home Cook have been revealed as PM’s sister and author Rachel Johnson, reality star Tom Read-Wilson and politico-turned-dancer Ed Balls.
They’re heading back to the kitchen for one last time in the hopes of impressing judges Michelin-starred chef Angela Hartnett, produce expert Chris Bavin and Dame Mary Berry.
The Rustle Up challenge sees Chris hand each of the cooks a butternut squash to see what they can invent. And while the winner goes straight through to the final Ultimate challenge, the other two must compete in Angela’s toughest Eliminator, and cook up a croquembouche.
The next day the remaining pair must produce the Ultimate picnic, creating at least four types of dishes and presenting them beautifully.
Then it’s just down to host Claudia Winkleman to announce the winner.
