Two more virus deaths in West

TWO further deaths in hospital within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test were recorded yesterday, both at the Cornwall Partnership NHS Trust.

There were no new deaths reported at hospitals in Devon.

The statistics come as Covid-19 case rates continue to fall in all regions of England, according to the latest weekly surveillance report from Public Health England. South-West England recorded the lowest rate: 87.4 per 100,000, down from 123.1.
