Murder probe – man is bailed

A 50-YEAR-OLD man has been released on police bail and a police cordon outside a property in St Budeaux, Plymouth, has been lifted after a murder investigation was launched.

Devon and Cornwall Police attended a house on Shelley Way at about 9.55pm last Thursday, February 18, after receiving reports of concerns for the welfare of a man.

The man, described as being in his 70s, was taken to Derriford Hospital by paramedics but was pronounced dead the following day.
