Farmers and land workers are so vital

-

I SEE in Tuesday’s WMN a very good article once again about our farmers being unable to find local staff to work in the fields. We have thousands of young people out of work at this time why are they not being put to work??

There is a very easy answer to why this is happening. Over the past 30 or so years, children have been taught that being outdoors is no good... that they must be indoors to learn anything. Outdoor work is of no use for them.

How wrong this is, it is the other way around. Being indoors all the time does no human being any good whatsoever. If this had been the case in 1939, we now would all be speaking German. What a horrible thought.

Thank goodness in those days children were taught the realities of life, and obedience. I completely blame our disgraceful education system, and the arrogant useless teaching profession which we have had over the last 30-plus years. Children have been and are being taught that all they have to do to earn a living is to play all day with a useless computer. Actual work is beyond most of them. Any actual work outside, to produce our food or anything else, is to be looked down upon.

This country is in a very dangerous place at this time, because of these teachers. The children are going to have to be taught that they are going to actually have to work, so as to feed themselves. Food or anything else that grows in the ground does not come by, or from, a computer, but from the hard labour of manual workers.

Without them, we cannot survive. We can easily survive without computers, but not our farmers.
