Harry shouldn’t bleat on to Queen Oprah

-

I MUST say at the outset I am no fan of chat shows. They bore me! So when the so-called queen of chat shows Oprah Winfrey interviews Prince Harry and Meghan I will not be watching. I will, I know, be in the minority. The whole interview will have been well and truly engineered before it is aired.

We can expect Meghan to criticise the regime of the Royal Family for inflicting many problems in her marriage to the besotted Prince.

Of course, Harry has the right to marry whom he wants to. But he must accept that being a Royal he must expect to face all sorts of problems if he breaches the ‘firm’s’ laid down principles on what a member of the Royal Family can and cannot do. The Prince and Meghan have decided to make their own way in life. So be it. But Harry cannot be half in and half out of the Royal Family. He has made his choice and he and Meghan must not bleat about it to Oprah Winfrey.

Prince Harry should have more concern for his grandfather, who at 99 is seriously ill in hospital. He should have called the Oprah Winfrey interview off. I wish the Duke a speedy recovery and urge the Prince and Meghan to recognise the worry that our magnificent monarch Queen Elizabeth II is going through at the moment.
