SNP seeks domination not independence

THE Scottish National Party is deceiving the Scots about independence because it seeks the protection of the European Union.

But the EU will only admit Scotland if it agrees to do as it is told by Germany and France, or the final winner of their future struggle to dominate the New Roman Empire, by which time EU democracy will have become far too totalitarian to be called democratic and more like today’s Russia or China. The bigger the EU gets, the less democratic it will become.

By contrast, our currently disunited kingdom is trying to devolve power to its component parts and dispel the injustice of London’s domination of tangible wealth, mainly generated in the provinces but bought and sold in the metropolis; living like lords and cheating the producers of decent prices and wages, while skimmingoff too big a slice of public spending.

For example, London’s public budget is about £17 billion for nine million London residents, over half of whom are not British at all, while 1.5 million Devon permanent residents get £800,000 annually to spend on infrastructure, repairs and public services.

I think the former European Free Trade Area, EFTA, will probably make a comeback if the members of the UK are allowed to join, as small independent nations living life in their own ways, without an over-centralised, over-politicised and expensive additional layer of government serving itself in Brussels, otherwise known as Empire HQ.
