Why is Truss sending billions to Ukraine?

-

SO Liz Truss is going to “honour” her predecessor’s commitment to Ukraine. In this context, ‘honour’ is a serious misnomer.

Had the West and Nato ‘honoured’ the Minsk Protocol of 2014, Russia may not have felt it had to invade.

Had the USA not interfered with the democratically elected government and put a puppet president in power – a bad habit usually associated with South America – the conflict may not have arisen. Had the West stopped the persecution and atrocities carried out against the ethnic Russians in the Donbas by Ukraine, especially the extreme far-right volunteer brigades who think Adolf Eichmann is a god, perhaps Russia would not have felt it needed to protect the people there. And if organised crime, led by highly prominent people in the States, had not been allowed to build a score of bioweapon labs, Russia may not have wished to protect her interests.

I am not pro-Russian any more than I am pro-American.

But at a time when this country is in a financial crisis, why is the Government committing billions of pounds to funding a pointless and contrived conflict which only makes the Industrial War Machine wealthier? Truss has yet to apologise for encouraging young men and veterans to volunteer in Ukraine when the Geneva Convention does not apply to them. She states she is prepared to be an unpopular PM (except with the bankers) so has she been put in place to achieve a specific goal in the short term she will be in position? No doubt in the expectation of a Damehood.

Her predecessor liked to compare himself with Winston Churchill; well, Churchill would not have funded the extreme far right in Ukraine. Something is rotten in our Government. It is time it stepped down for the sake of the people. It is time we freed ourselves from the clutches of the World Economic Forum and regained our sovereignty.
