Three inflatable swan sea rescues

A MAN has been rescued three times after entering Plymouth Sound on an inflatable swan, it has been reported.

The man was rescued at approximately 3.30pm on Saturday after being spotted on the water near the city’s Mayflower Marina.

It is believed the same man was rescued in choppy waters off the Hoe last Thursday, and it later emerged a man had been rescued in Plymouth Sound the previous day by paramedics.

Police issued a warning for people not to risk their lives taking to the sea on unsuitable inflatable craft.
