Shane Richie wants a New Year party invite
SOAP star Shane Richie is looking forward to spending New Year’s Eve in Plymouth – and he is on the look-out for the best party.
The 58-year-old actor, who is best known for playing Alfie Moon in the BBC series EastEnders, is starring in the pantomime Sleeping Beauty at Theatre Royal Plymouth from Friday, December 16, to Saturday, January 14.
Shane said that he has been to Plymouth several times over the past 30-odd years, and he loves it so much that he visits even when he is not working.
He said he looking forward to bringing his children with him to Plymouth. “We’re going to have New Year’s down there,” he said. “So we’ve just got to find the best party!”
Shane has previously opened up about sleeping rough in Plymouth as a 16-year-old for “no more than 10 days” before returning home to London.
