Survey reveals top 10 toys that are ‘timeless’

LEGO, board games and puzzles are among the gifts parents are most likely to believe will stand the test of time, according to a survey. Bikes, Barbies, footballs, and the Rubik’s Cube were also popular choices as the toys that parents believe are most timeless, Gumtree found. The list with parent vote percentages, was: 1 Lego (56%); 2 Board games (47%); 3 Puzzles and jigsaws (34%); =4 Bike (33%); =4 Football (33%); 6 Cuddly toy/teddy (30%); 7 Barbie doll (25%); 8 Doll’s house (24%); 9 Rubik’s Cube (21%); 10 Toy kitchen (20%).
