Who’s hiding in plain sight?

There’s deception, double-crosses and drama in new game show

-

MURDER mystery meets game show as Claudia Winkleman takes the reins of this intense and twisting series.

“This is the ultimate game of deception, skill and trust,” says Claudia, as she welcomes 22 strangers to a stunning castle in the Scottish Highlands.

All are hoping to win up to £120,000, but they will be split into warring factions, with three people selected as Traitors.

It is up to the Traitors, under the cover of darkness, to pick off their fellow players one by one, ‘murdering’ them from

BBC1, 9.30pm the game at night.

The rest of the players, the Faithful, must try to work out who the Traitors are and banish them from the game.

“Get them before they get you,” says Claudia. “Every decision has a consequence, nothing is just for fun.”

For the lucky ones who survive to the end, they have the chance to win the cash, but if a Traitor remains undetected, they’ll steal all the money.

Among the contestants are an estate agent who reckons she can spot a liar at 10 paces, a magician who is keeping his cards close to his chest, a doctor, a BMX athlete, a scientist and a comedian.

Some of them have secrets they are hiding and it’s all hugely stressful from the getgo.

“It’s quite savage!” says one player within minutes of arriving.

Claudia is perfect in the role as witty harbinger of doom, and it all has an Agatha Christie vibe that will keep you hooked.
