AHISTORIC Westcountr­y coastal home built by a captain who served on HMS Victory during the Battle of Trafalgar has gone on the market for nearly £5m.

The unique manor home, Trafalgar Barton, is described as an “exquisite mini estate” characteri­sed by its historical significan­ce and peaceful setting in Branscombe, Devon.

The main Grade II-listed house is on the market for £3.75m and features seven bedrooms, five reception rooms, five bathrooms and is spread over a stunning 19.75 acres.
