Mitsubishi L200 vs Volkswagen Amarok
In many ways, the Amarok is still the best pick-up truck on the market. It’s much better to drive than all the competition, plus it has a huge load bay, roomy rear seats and a mighty V6 diesel engine. But this particular version is too pricey to recommend and certainly isn’t worth almost £12,000 more than our favourite version (the 3.0 TDI 204 Trendline).
The L200 also makes more sense in its cheaper trim levels, but at least the Barbarian X isn’t outrageously priced, and it goes some way towards justifying its price by having a good roster of safety kit, along with plenty of luxuries.the fact that it also betters the Amarok for towing and payload capacity gives it a narrow win.
