Denon AHGC30 £299

Denon’s AHGC30 wireless noisecancelling headphones lead a three-strong new range of over-ear cans, featuring two wireless models (the AHGC30 and AH-GC25W) and a wired (AH-GC25NC) pair of noise-cancelling cans. This pair comes in at a price that pits them against big-hitters from Bose, Sony and Sennheiser. They feature three noise-cancellation modes, a 20-hour battery life when using aptx HD wireless Bluetooth and noisecancelling, and 40mm Freeedge drivers normally found in premium Denon headphones. whf.cm/denonwireless

German manufacturer T+A has added three new products to its flagship HV line of separates. The SD 3100 HV and SDV 3100 HV are streaming DACS, with the SDV doubling as a pre-amplifier. Rega P1-plus Record Store Day £299

What’s better than a five-star record player? A limited edition five-star record player, of course. Rega has delivered the goods with a special Planar 1 Plus with natty Record Store Day design. The P1-plus is the company’s most plug-and-play deck yet, with a built-in phono stage (based on the Fono Mini A2D), a MM cartridge and a hugely enjoyable sound. The RSD2019 Rega P1-plus is limited to 500 units. Look out for extra special signed versions, if last year is anything to go by. whf.cm/regarsd

Fyne Audio F1-12 from £23,999

Fyne Audio is still very much a fledgling speaker brand, but one that’s going places, as the launch of these serious flagship floorstanders testifies. The F1-12 jumps ahead of the F1-10 in the pecking order, with its handmade birch-ply cabinet increasing in size to accommodate a new 30cm version of Fyne Audio’s proprietary Isoflare driver. There’s an enlarged aluminium plinth and Fyne’s largest Basstrax Tactrix Diffuser system. The walnut finish costs £23,999, but there are also black and white piano-lacquer gloss finishes for a £2000 premium. whf.cm/fyneaudio

Benq W2700 £1500

Projectors are becoming a cost-effective way to get a hefty 4K picture without splashing a load of cash. The Benq W5700, W2700 and short-throw W1720 are three new models, costing around £2500, £1500 and £1000 respectively. All three support 4K, HDR10 and HLG formats, but the W2700 and W5700 are the first home theatre DLP projectors to support the DCI-P3 colour space (the US film industry’s digital film standard promises a 23 per cent wider gamut of colours than SRGB). We look forward to getting these projectors into our test rooms. whf.cm/benq
