TAKE THE SLOW ROAD: FRANCE

Just as we thought Martin Dorey had surely trundled his way around everywhere possible by now, here comes a new book. This time, Martin is enjoying a hunky-dory time in France in his campervan. For those of you unfamiliar with the earlier books in this series, comprising Take the Slow Road: England & Wales, Scotland, Ireland – and possibly Timbuctoo to Mars, if memory serves – this latest book follows the same format. Martin takes it easy around France, exploring mountains, coast and everything in between, and the book includes plenty of useful information for route planning, such as maps and information on where to stay, places of interest and things to do, etc. If you’re a newcomer to motorhoming in France, you’ll no doubt find some useful reading here.
