Cargo Clips launches in the UK

-

Austrian company, Cargo Clips, has announced that it will market its Cargo Camper conversions in the UK. These unique and fully removable camper conversions are available for a wide variety of base vehicles and will be supplied direct from the factory in right-hand drive form.

Aimed at an active, sporting clientele, the Cargo Camper can be converted into a working vehicle during the week, then leisure fittings can be reinstated at the weekend. Each module is fully removable and simply attaches to pegboard-style holes in the wooden lining of the base van via a specially developed system of locking nuts. All of the equipment and its fixings are TÜV approved. Additional modules – seats, beds, kitchen, toilet, etc – can be added later, if required.

The Cargo Camper concept is that one vehicle can serve a multitude of roles, saving money on tax, insurance, servicing, etc – and it can evolve as your needs change. You can even move the conversion into a new base vehicle. The company describes it as ‘the Swiss Army knife of motorhomes.’

The conversions can be added to large vans such as the MAN TGE, Mercedes Sprinter, Fiat Ducato and Renault Master, as well as more compact vehicles such as the VW T6 and Vauxhall Vivaro. Prices start at £39,500 for a brand-new vehicle, or as little as £5,500 to equip a van with the Cargo Clips system.

A full review will appear in the September issue of What Motorhome.
