WHO IS CHAUSSON?

Chausson motorhomes are built by Trigano VDL, with its main factory in the picturesque Ardèche region of France. One of the largest caravan and motorhome factories in Europe, it is also home to Challenger motorhomes (Chausson’s sister brand, which is not sold here) and Caravelair caravans.

Chausson vehicles have been available in the UK since 2003, with Britain being the company’s second largest export market. With a reputation for strong value and innovative design, the French maker has also risen to become one of the topselling imported motorhome brands here.

Its range includes van conversions

(which are built at the Auto-Trail factory), as well as low-profiles and overcabs on Ford or Fiat chassis in a choice of trim levels, as well as the very innovative X550 campervan rival.
