It’s a VW camper, but perhaps not as you expect it. The layout isn’t the side kitchen norm and there’s a permanent high-top rather than a pop-top to give standing room. That makes it better insulated for off-season camping, too.

The layout puts four forward-facing leather-trimmed seats up front, with the cab chairs swivelling to make the lounge. At night, the seats transform into single beds or these slide together to make a double – either way, your feet go on the cab chairs.

At the rear, the high-gloss furniture includes an oven in the kitchen as well as a built-in cassette toilet hidden in a cupboard. There’s diesel heating, too, in this short-wheelbase campervan, which has 42k miles on the clock.
