2010 BILBO’S NEXA
VW campers don’t have to have a side kitchen. Nor do they have to have a pop-top. This Nexa, from Bilbo’s (one of the UK’s most highly respected Volkswagen converters), takes a different route and the model is still available today.
This short-wheelbase T5 looks super smart with its alloys and grey paint, while the high roof offers better insulation for winter camping and plenty of extra storage compared with a pop-top. The well-proven layout has four individual seats up front, which make into twin single beds. The rear kitchen has more facilities (and storage) than you might anticipate, including a threeburner hob and separate grill. Also fitted is Webasto diesel heating.
