WHO IS KNAUS?

-

This major German brand, which also owns the Weinsberg marque, as well as caravan makers, Tabbert and T@B, was formed in 1960 by Helmut Knaus. In 1988 it launched its first motorhome, the Traveller overcab coachbuilt on a

Fiat Ducato. A-class models followed in 1996 and campervans in 2003. In 2004, Knaus then set the scene for the modern breed of low-profile models with a large overcab sunroof, with its Sun TI.

Today, the Knaus-Tabbert Group has three production sites in Germany and another in Hungary and employs over 3,000 staff. It builds over 24,000 caravans, campervans and motorhomes per year and is aiming to double that output over the next five years.
