WHO IS LOWDHAMS?

In 1966, Lowdhams was founded by George Crafts, father of the company’s current Chairman, Roger. In the 1990s, the dealership moved to its 26-acre site at Gunthorpe, near Nottingham, and by 1996 it had added motorhomes to its offering. Then, just two years later, the first European motorhome brand (Laika, from Italy) arrived.

In 2017, the My Lowdhams membership club was launched, while the dealer’s own Summit brand of campervans took the business into a new sector a year later. It also has Bailey, Chausson, Dethleffs, Hymer, Sunlight and Swift motorhome franchises.
