Coronation Street
The horror of Phelan’s deadly rampage continues!
When Faye admitted she’d been spooking Eileen, the fear that something sinister was happening, linked to supposedly dead serial killer Phelan, appeared to be over.
In fact, Eileen and her loved ones were celebrating, as Nicola had given birth to a baby boy via caesarean section after a dramatic hospital dash.
Little did Eileen know that her worst nightmare was far from over. Suspicious Gary Windass had not only found out that evil Phelan was alive and living in a caravan in Wales – he was about to make the fateful decision to bring him back to Weatherfield. Ex-squaddie Gary thought he was doing the right thing when he bound and gagged the murderer in the storeroom at the builders’ yard. All he needed to do was to report him.
Ordeal
It didn’t turn out that way, of course. Armed, Phelan broke free from his shackles and went on a deadly rampage. A shot was fired at No.11 after he forced his way inside his former marital home. Phelan then burst into the bistro carrying a casualty, and took a terrified bystander hostage. Police swarmed outside. Someone died.
Now, in the wake of the horror, aftershocks send terrorised locals reeling as an investigation into the traumatic death and the horrific ordeal is set to begin.
Will police discover that the dangerous killer was brought back to his old stomping ground?
