Rebecca discusses murder as Lachlan continues to torment her…
There’s hope in the air this week, as Rebecca celebrates her birthday. She’s back with Ross and her baby, and her terrifying ordeal with her jailed serial killer nephew is finally over.
But when Rebecca receives a card in the post from Lachlan, she’s plunged into despair. It’s a cruel gesture from the young man who killed her sister and her dad, caused her irreparable brain damage, and held her hostage for weeks.
Dark pasts
Ross is thrown when his normally mild-mannered girlfriend reveals she’d kill Lachlan if she had the chance. But Rebecca’s revenge fantasy gets Ross thinking.
Reflecting on the horrors that Ross has been through himself, including the acid attack which has robbed him of his looks, his job and his self-esteem – not to mention the murders of his dad, mum and younger brother – he’s had a hideous time.
Taking it all in, Ross suggests that they put their dark pasts behind them and make a fresh start together elsewhere!

When Rebecca realises Ross is serious, she’s pushed to consider the idea, which will affect her son Sebastian and his father, Robert Sugden, who lives in the village with his husband, Aaron.
