Co­me­dian Tracey Ull­man has had an amaz­ing ca­reer since find­ing fame in the early 1980s in BBC1 sketch show Three of a Kind. Later, she em­barked on a short pop ca­reer, en­joy­ing hits in­clud­ing They Don’t Know, be­fore cross­ing the At­lantic, where she was given her own TV show from 1987 to 1990, which in­cluded the first ap­pear­ance of The Simp­sons! More re­cently Tracey has re­turned to Bri­tain to give us her im­per­son­ations of An­gela Merkel, Judi Dench and Theresa May on Bri­tish TV in Tracey Breaks The News and Tracey Ull­man’s Show. Tracey, now 58, talks to Melvyn Bragg about her ca­reer.
