Hol­ly­wood leg­end Kurt Rus­sell takes on the role of Santa Claus in the Net­flix fes­tive drama

The Christ­mas Chron­i­cles. The story fol­lows two sib­lings – Kate and Teddy – who try to prove Santa is real by catch­ing him on cam­era, but end up caus­ing his sleigh to crash… Stephen Tomp­kin­son and Jo Hart­ley play Jayne Torvill’s par­ents, Ge­orge and Betty, in the new ITV drama Torvill and Dean. It fol­lows the 1984 Olympic gold medal­lists from their early years ice danc­ing in Not­ting­ham.

BBC1’s new drama Mrs Wil­son tells the true story of Ali­son, whose world is rocked when her hus­band (Iain Glen) dies. Kee­ley Hawes stars as Dorothy, one of the women in his life.
