Jailed for Christmas?

Will Debbie get taken from her kids and put in prison?

-

The verdict Debbie Dingle has been dreading is looming large. Her solicitor estimates the mum could receive five years inside for her part in the Ross Barton attack, and things aren’t looking good.

‘Debbie is very prepared for the fact the judge might make an example of her,’ says

Charley Webb, who plays her.

Mistaken identity

With her daughter, Sarah, having had a recent heart transplant, and son Jack being so young, Debbie’s hoping the court will believe she never asked for drug dealer Simon to hurt Ross – nor did she ask for him to use acid. She paid Simon to lash out at Joe Tate for his cruelty, but he mistakenly targeted

Ross, who’s now scarred for life.

Charity, Cain and the rest of the Dingles pray Debbie will return home, but there’s a sense that no one really believes the verdict will allow for that.

‘When Debbie heads off to court she’s worried she is waving goodbye to her parents and children, her friends and the village for a long time,’ says Charley. Sarah is hit the hardest and she blames Joe Tate and Graham Foster – if Debbie hadn’t met Joe, none of this would have happened.

Outside Home Farm, furious

Sarah is found by great-gran

Faith, who stops her from damaging the place.

Listening to the emotional teenager pouring out her stress, Faith decides to help Sarah get revenge after all…
