Rainie pregnant?
Rainie collapses while she’s looking after little Abi…
As his orphaned granddaughter’s first birthday approaches, guilt-ridden Max wants to make it the absolute best, but when he gets called into work, he has to put his party plans on the back burner.
He is unable to get past his low opinion of his wife Rainie’s parenting skills, so the overprotective grandad asks his brother Jack to watch Abi, who’s his last link to his dead daughter, while he heads to the office.
Good intentions
With Max out of the way, Rainie appeals to Jack’s better nature and, offering to help her one-time lover with the party preparations, goes out to collect the cake. But Rainie’s well-meaning efforts crumble when she has a dizzy spell and drops it!
Stressed-out, Rainie goes all out to try to salvage the situation and ends up collapsing in the kitchen… When Max returns home from work he finds Abi screaming the place down – and Rainie out cold on the floor… What is wrong with her – is she pregnant by one of the Branning brothers?
The next day, it’s party time and though Rainie insists she’s better, Max notices she’s still pretty shaky. Rather than show concern, Max spits out a harsh tirade, hurting Rainie who storms out of the house.
Later, Jack tries to broker peace by showing Max the present Rainie had got for
Abi – a photo album stuffed with pictures of her late mum and namesake, Abi.
Will Max relax his grip on the baby and let Rainie in?
