But with Duncan having convinced judge and jury that former mayor Sally was guilty of fraud and adultery, Tim’s got a massive job on his hands.

As he, Sophie and Gina plot to try to prise the truth out of Duncan, an ugly confrontation takes place between Tim and Duncan, who steps into the path of a car!

The dramatic scene takes place at the end of an intense week of sleuthing. Gina, for one, breaks into Duncan’s before tailing him to a phone box, where she makes a crucial discovery…

Tim’s heart soars when Gina hands on the information, which he believes will save Sally. But the police later inform him only a confession from Duncan will do. Meanwhile, in prison, Sally’s beaten up when her new cellmate,

Marcia, gets in trouble with the screws and assumes

Sally dobbed her in.

Tim’s frantic when he hears from her and is now desperate to save her.

After an attempt to get information out of Duncan’s daughter, Olivia, fails, Tim is gunning for Duncan, and as he confronts him, he’s hit by the car!
