Ashocking incident rocks the village this week when a hooded male pitches up outside The
Woolpack with a can of petrol and proceeds to torch the property!
Vanessa, who is driving by, spots the arsonist throwing fuel around by the bin store, so leaves her son, Johnny, in the car and rushes over.

Vanessa is stabbed and left for dead as the perpetrator makes off in her car, taking little Johnny with him!
‘Vanessa does what she thinks is the right thing, tackles him and ends up getting stabbed,’ explains Michelle Hardwick, who plays her. ‘Vanessa’s on the floor, stunned and in pain, and doesn’t realise how bad it actually is. She manages to ring Charity, who comes out and finds her.’
Argument
But does Vanessa know who’s taken her child, attacked her and set light to the pub?
‘The audience has met the culprit before,’ teases the actress.
Prior to the incident, Vanessa and Charity have a big row, which causes the angry vet to drive off with her son. Vanessa doesn’t get very far before deciding to return to sort things out with Charity, which is when the horrific attack takes place.
‘What’s awful about this situation is the last exchange Charity had with Vanessa was this argument,’ adds Michelle. ‘I think there will be a lot of guilt but if Vanessa pulls through it could bring them closer.’
Will Vanessa survive? And will Johnny be found safe and sound?
