When Harriet Finch learnt that her boyfriend Will Taylor had brought danger and crime to her door, she was furious. It was one step too far for the village vicar, who feels that her job has been compromised time and time again by dodgy Will.

But ex-copper Harriet hasn’t just got her church career to worry about. She’s also deeply concerned about Will’s daughter, Dawn, who has just got her little son, Lucas, out of care and under their roof at Woodbine.

Unable to take any more of his criminal activities – which he swore were a thing of the past – Harriet ended things with Will, who’s in hospital recovering from a severe beating.

This week, having torn strips off Malone, too, Harriet is in the vestry in the middle of a blazing row with her former police colleague when things turn from anger to passion!

Harriet panics when Dawn comes looking for her, but manages to get rid of Dawn without her seeing half-dressed Malone. Guilt-racked, the clergywoman then immediately tells the dodgy DI that she’s made a grave mistake.

As the sordid saga unfolds, it’s clearly far from over as Malone hounds Harriet, asking to see her again… Will Harriet ignore her conscience and give in to lust again?

Meanwhile, oblivious Will is desperate to reconcile with Harriet, and after some advice from Billy, he’s got a plan.

Can Will win her back or is Harriet lost to the excitement of an affair with Malone?
