Evil Geoff attacks his daughter-in-law for visiting Yasmeen in prison…

-

Sally acts on her growing suspicion of her fatherin-law Geoff – who is denying ever having abused his wife Yasmeen – by visiting her jailed stepmother-inlaw this week.

When Cathy tells her how magician Geoff once left Yasmeen locked in his magic box, Sally’s utterly appalled. It’s another chink in the carefully constructed story Geoff is telling – that Yasmeen was a drunk who almost killed him when she attacked him all those weeks ago.

After Yasmeen’s granddaughter Alya then asks Sally to be a witness on the defence team in the upcoming trial, she decides the time has come to talk to Yasmeen herself.

‘It’s really important for Sally that she gets to the truth as she is just so shocked by the situation,’ says Sally Dynevor, who plays her.

Sally is absolutely aghast when she hears Yasmeen’s account of Geoff’s abuse. On her return home, Sally confronts Geoff, who springs into attack… When Tim finds his dad furious and his wife terrified, has evil Geoff left himself bare?

With the situation taking its toll on the Metcalfes’ marriage, the couple talk. Tim’s stunned when Sally tells him about visiting Yasmeen but will he believe his wife’s account of his dad’s abuse?

Sally says: ‘Sally would go a long way to defend Yasmeen because she is so upset about it and determined to help her at the detriment of her own relationship.’

Meanwhile, knowing that he’s losing control, Geoff goes to great lengths to get a visiting order to see Yasmeen… Will the abuser succeed?
