There are live bands, supersized sets and even bigger prizes when Alan Carr returns for a second round of his Epic Gameshow, with reboots of Bullseye, Strike It Lucky and The Price Is Right.

But all the fun kicks off with a Play Your Cards Right celebrity special, featuring Harry and Sandra Redknapp.

‘I met Harry and Sandra years ago on holiday in Sardinia and we got on like a house on fire,’ says Alan. ‘I was tempted to ditch the questions and just show slides of our holiday!’ Celebs… Harry and Sandra As well as all the classics from the first series, Name That Tune is also getting the epic Alan Carr treatment.

‘I remember it from the 1980s and I never understood how they got the tunes so quickly!’ he says. ‘I always test the games on myself and my brain went into meltdown!’

Alan’s also excited about the massive prizes on offer, and hints at tears…

‘There aren’t many game shows where you can win a new kitchen, a car and a holiday… Take that, Tipping Point!’ he laughs.

‘But it’s been such a crappy year and everyone’s gagging for a holiday or a new car to put a smile on their face. So there’s some real determination to get the questions right and a few tears, too!’
